Ibs flare up

I've been having a lot of pain recently and last night I had to make two urgent trips to the bathroom where I had a lot of diarhea and stomach cramps the pain was excruciating. I didn't have to lie on the bathroom floor this time. Today my colon aches and is very sore the dicycloverine and paracetamol isn't doing much any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Hi, sorry to hear your having a rough time of it. Have you tried imodium ibs relief? I had a really bad flare up after covid and that was the only thing that got me through it, helped with the cramps/pain and made bowel movements better.

The last time I took Imodium it made me constipated for a week. But I will give a go, thank you for the advice. Much appreciated.

Sorry to hear you are having a bad time. My GP warned me never to take Imodium more than 1 tablet every 6 hours as the result will be constipation. Only taking 1 every 6 hours I suppose probably takes a little longer to work, but with me, it doesn't throw my system into reverse. The very best of luck.
