Hello, I’m from the University of Westminster and am currently recruiting UK-based adults with IBS to take part in a short online survey about experiences living with IBS. The survey can be take at the following link and is completely anonymous: tinyurl.com/IBSSurveyUoW
It is hoped the results will be used to further understanding of factors affecting quality of life in people living with IBS.
Thank you!

Many thanks for putting this up and for doing this research. There isn't nearly enough research into IBS and like a lot of sufferers I feel let down and forgotten by the medical profession.
This is great! I will do the survey, and I’m hoping that it covers important stuff as I often find that they miss out really relevant things e.g a question might ask.. do your symptoms stop you doing your usual daily things? if I say yes it wouldn’t be strictly true because my symptoms are mainly night, but if I say no that’s not really true either ; although sometimes I can’t actually get out of bed due to not sleeping at all.
Thanks all - Zantecat, yes we are hoping it will be useful for understanding more about a range of different factors including how it affects quality of life, use of self-management strategies (with particular focus on attitudes to yoga), and how symptom severity and other characteristics/factors relate to mental health and quality of life
