Hi, I’m thinking of trying CBD to help control visceral hypersensitivity and wondered if anyone has tried ( not suitable for IBS D, I know 😬 )
Anyone tried CBD for pain relief with IBS C ? - IBS Network
Anyone tried CBD for pain relief with IBS C ?
Hi ,Mutleyforever yes I have , it cost just under £50 and all it did was give me nightmares as I took it before bed . Have tried using it in the daytime but does nothing for me I’m afraid x
Thanks for replying Catty, how disappointing! At least you tried you can cross that off the list😬I’m taking probiotics and starting multi enzymes soon but did wonder if CBD could be the ‘one’.
Hope you are keeping well ( just been reading about Reiki being useful, at least there are other options)
Everyone is different it may work for you . I always try to find an alternative to strong painkillers which wreck the intestines . I find listening to healing frequencies on YouTube helps x
Works great for me. I also take Delta 8 THC. It's like Delta 9, which is in regular cannabis, but doesn't make you feel as loopy.
What is viceral hypersensitive?
Visceral hypersensitivity means a general increase in pain sensation experienced in internal organs. It is common in IBS sufferers. If you suffer from this, an internal stimulus which would normally not be noticed will register to you as pain. Thanks to Mr Google.
I tried it for 4 months (£40 per month). Didn't notice any improvement in my IBD
No , but I’m thinking of trying it too , I’ve asked my nutritionist about it & she's going to look into it , as I have no idea what strength to take .I’m IBS-C too and i have Sibo , so I get a lot of pain at times
Hi, it would be interesting to hear your nutritionists findings, as some people find it very useful. I would not want any psychoactive effects ( THC ) but it might help with motility and pain which would make a big difference to me.Thanks for replying!
I tried it and in the end it did not do much if anything for me but gut issues are complicated and everyone is very different and even if it helps with another symptom that can sometimes help the overall stress load of symptoms we all might have.
Give it a try. If it works for you, great. If not, you can try something else.
