Has anyone any cures or advice for rumbling noisy stomach? I don’t have any other IBS symptoms and GP recommends peppermint tea. It happens most evenings after a meal …. less so during the day . Very noisy and embarrassing! Not sure what triggers it … have read about apple cider vinegar so might give that a go !!

Gurgling stomach
Hi Smile60Gurgling is part of the digestive process. Mine gurgles when I am hungry so I try to eat regularly. Suggest your look at your diet and limit foods that trigger gas, and reduce acidic food. If your GP suggested peppermint tea try it as this aides digestion
It probably is just the way your digestion works rather than anything sinister. Maybe try some gentle exercise after your meals like a walk to help keep things moving and ginger, either as a tea or a supliment, might help sooth things.
I had the same issue. Mastic gum + slippery elm + DGL fixed it.
deglycyrrhizinated licorice
I have this right now, took peppermint capsules but won’t helpA warm pad in the stomach and massaging, loose air , relieve a little
Gurgling is a normal part of digestion. No need to be embarrassed. The medical name is borborygmi, which is quite onomatopoeic I think. Some people find that drinking a glass of water can help. We make a joke of it in my house.
I used to get that all the time but since I've gone gluten and lactose free it has really calmed down. The best gluten free bread is Schar btw so you don't have to give up bread 😋 x
I found that Mintec capsules are really good for a noisy/windy/gurgling tummy. You can get them on prescription but also over the counter
I take peppermint oil in aglass of warm water, just 2 or 3 drops, really helps my noisy tummy. Make sure its the edible oil and not peppermint flavouring. Good luck, its worth a try.
As soon as i start rumbling 😬😊
That sounds like the best time to try it !!😂
Apple cider vinegar smells and tastes disgusting made me feel sick. Good luck.
