Imodium/stool color?

Does Imodium cause stool color to be different than normal? It makes mine a weird beige color. During an IBS-D flare, stools or liquid is normally brown or yellow. Never this color.

Hi, I'm not a great user of imodium myself but I haven't notice a change in colour.

This might be of some use:

"Pale, white, or clay

If your poop is a chalky light shade, it might mean you’re lacking bile. Bile is a digestive fluid that comes from your liver and gallbladder, so if you’re producing white stool, it probably means your duct is blocked.

Pale poop could also be a side effect of certain medications like antidiarrhea medicine. Either way, if it continues, consult a doctor."

Or you could check with your local pharmacy.

Thanks! All seems normal colorwise until I take the Imodium. So maybe it’s just a side effect from the Imodium.
