Ive been very lucky with not having a big flare up for a couple of years now i have little ones every now and then but they never last long, but ive had this flare up now since Sunday its now going into Wednesday. Ive not had anything like this usually im able to cope and stay home with going to the loo when needed and limiting what i eat. This time its so different i can't face having any kind of food im having to force myself to drink im going to the loo every 5 mins burping and being sick my stomach really hurts i only normal get a swollen stomach. cant think what ive eaten that would set it off. Ive tried my usual tablets but they havent helped im really not sure what else to try.

This sounds horrible I really feel for you. Could it be that this started with a tummy bug? Perhaps that’s why it’s lasting longer than usual.

You poor thing. If it is different to what you usually have maybe it's a bug. I had a bug earlier this year thought it was IBS but got quite bad got help from a Doc who said don't take immodium as this keeps the bug inside longer. I would get advice before the holiday and I hope you feel better soon take care x
