I had Covid a month ago and now I’m having the worst IBS flare up I had in over a year, so my question is could having joy Covid a month ago cause this flare up?, I know stress is a factor but I’m always stressed and now I’m even more stressed trying to deal with this, just don’t know what to do. Any feedback would be most appreciated I know I’ve just done a recent post but right now I just feel desperate😔 thanks for reading

Could havid Covid caused a flare up??
Yes, I think it could have caused it, IBS tends to do that sort of thing, you don't have the strength to fight the IBS when you have been ill with something else. Give it time, I am sure you'll feel better soon.
Hello CimmyWhat symptoms do you have?
I’m also thinking the same thing… 😞
My symptoms vary, but I’ve had a very sore and gurgling tummy, nausea, headache, cold sores and these are what I used to suffer from, but until I had Covid it was all under control, now I just feel worn out and awful. Have you had Covid? And since then had a flare up?, it just seem to much of a coincidence that I had Covid then a massive flare up. Hope you feel better soon
My IBS started after covid, apparently it is very common as Covid attacks the digestive system, mine is just beginning to ease I was given Mebeverine ibs tablets on prescription 3 tablets a day they have really helped I literally took every other IBS tablet on the market and nothing touched it believe me they are good, ask your doctor for a prescription.
