has anybody tried prebiotics with success

I have been under a lot of stress lately and my stomach aches are returning. I don't have family-they were horrible anyways and holidays really do me in. I would often spend holidays with a neighbor but she died of lung cancer in September. I really thought the Geodon had solved the problem except for chronic constipation caused by medications. I just ordered some prebiotics.

Sorry to hear that Bobby. Can't say that I know anyone who has had success with prebiotics, but I know a few people who say probiotics have helped them, in particular Symprove and Alforex (although I don't know if these are available outside the UK). My mum also says that Kefir helps her (she has UC rather than IBS though). You could always try both pre and probiotics and see how you get on? Good luck x

i ordered for prebiotics Swanson Prebiotic Capsules - Promotes Friendly Flora Support & Overall Digestive Health - Prebiotic Fiber Promoting Gut Health & Immune Health Support - (120 Veggie Capsules, 750mg Each) 1 Pack and Now probiotics. I started eating a lot of yogurt but that was a waste.
