Has anyone tried Kinesiology
Why don't you just try some meds and yoga instead of such therapies.
I have a probotic everyday and eat as balanced a diet as possible and avoid certain foods . However did try Kinesology for my daughter and basically you hold offending item in one hand whilst holding other arm out straight with hand flat downwards. Then you get someone to push down on the outstretched hand. If you have no resistance substance is supposed to be bad for you try it at home but really a diet and symptoms diary would be more effective although I know from experience it is often the thing you like or crave most that is the problem.
My main problem though is I have other auto immune illness and suffer with stress the worst conspiritor with IBS
I tried Kinesiology. Total waste of money!
Hypnotherapy worked for me for my daughters wedding. But the keinseology showed me what was good and what was bad. I was sceptical but surprised.
drsachdeva I must have tried every med you can have still on a lot of them. And onhereagain I also have auto immune illness amongst many more problems. Its just that I suffer with what people seem to think is such a simple illness IBS every waking hour .I have more life threatening illnesses, but IBS causes me bigger problems. My latest trial is the Fodmap diet set out by a dietician .I just thought I would exhort every avenue.I just wondered if anyone out there with IBS had tried Kinesiology or am I wasting my money.
Have you tried the Low Fodmap diet? It works for 75% of IBS suffers.
I'm on the low Fodmap diet at the moment but I have not been on it long enough yet to see any change.Ive had 12yrs of this plus a multitude of other illnesses. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.I just thought I'd give anything a go as IBS rules my life.
Actually Swishymishy I take a lot of your advise including the calcium phostrate in medication.
If by any chance you are intolerant of lactose and dairy you must be careful with tablet medication as even imodium and ibuprofen contains it.
Although I've never used the FODmap diet from other postings on this site I believe you have to stick to it for at least 6/8 weeks.
I am intolerant of lactose and dairy and so have to read the ingredients of everything including medication.
You could try reflexology which is good for relaxation and depression which can also be an IBS symptom
