I have had liquid Diarrhea (mostly black) for the past 3.5 wks. every time I go for any reason. It is black liquid or black blobs. It had gotten so bad that it was making a huge mess - getting over everything - while I was sleeping. I was wearing pads so most of it went over the pads as well as on the clothes.
In the last 2 days, I have made a serious attempt for the BRAT diet and am better. Plain toast for breakfast, brown plain rice for lunch, and banana, toast for dinner before bed. It has helped, but has anyone else experienced this, and what helped. Immodium ID Generic hasn't. I received a generic Dic

I'll go with @Suecoo66. I had similar and it turned out to be a stomach bleed. The colour was black because I was digesting my own blood, and, like you, nothing else worked. I ended up anaemic. Not wishing to scare you, but it would be good to eliminate the impossible
Unless your taking iron, bowel movements are not usually black ! See your gp X
Contact your GP or A+E NOW!! Black poop = blood from within which could lead to death! I'm not kidding black poop is a massive sign of internal bleeding, please see your GP or A+E immediately. Let us know how you get on.
Definitely A&E black poop isn't good. Also when on the BRAT diet avoid anything brown... brown toast, brown rice are a no go. Contains more fibre than white
