It will most likely be the vegetables and gravy. A lot of gravy has onion powder in so I use oxo cubes instead with thickening granules or cornflour.

Well I've never noticed it before on the box but just googled it and yes there must be a small amount of onion powder in them! That's totally put me off them now

Roast dinners are ok for me but I can't eat broccoli or cabbage and unfortunately I can only have small portions of anything. So maybe try a smaller dinner next time.

I love proper roast dinners, nice chicken with 2 roast potatoes with carrots and long green beans. But like you instead of being the ideal healthy dinner, I get about the same as you. I have noticed over the years fresh chickens don't cook like they used to. Crackling don't seem be crispy and light. More full of fat underneath so I avoid eating it. Home mde roast pots would seem... preferableto supermarket processed ones which replaced with unknown fats added at factory. Food as I knew it in the seventies is now very bad for you thus so many in reases in GI gut problems. I gave up KFC and McDonald's 18 months ago, I'm also helping the amazon by not buying there rubbish made from cleared forest for soya. Best of luck. Try make your roast dinner smaller, so as not to overload your stomach I find works at times.

Just wondering, did you have it at lunchtime or in the evening?! I find if I am going to eat something like that, it's best eaten in the evening!!

Sorry to hear that, IBS is really the pits isn't it, you just can't win whatever you do! I hope you are feeling better now.
