No more straining to go to the loo! Brilliant

I have some very good advice for everyone! I was having problems passing stools! I often had to use suppository's. Well no more. When sitting on the toilet. Have a stool! Put your feet on the stool this puts your rectum in the right place for the stool to literally pop out with no straining at all!! It has changed my life. I no longer worry and do not have to sit straining! I hope this is a help for a lot of you. XX

hi, for more than a year I have been using a "squat n go" toilet stool and must say it's helpful.

Don't laugh but if you have a large bleach bottle that is the same height as a stool and you can perch your feet on that. It really works.

Yes, it's about getting your knees 'high' enough but without getting uncomfortable :-)

Just curious, how high is your stool from the ground?

1 foot it really works. Good luck.

Oh! that is high. I tried one some years ago (it was about 7 inches) and it seemed a bit high for me, and I didn't get on with it at all. But I am quite tall. Glad it's working for you though.

Basically as long as your rectum pointing dead straight into the loo you should be fine literally no straining it works. 😀

I have 2 folding stools, which travel with me if we go away, invaluable. Sadly I still need suppositories, Senna and weekly Picolax, so you are very lucky indeed !

We have a folding stool which my daughter finds very helpful but I do not 🙁 I'm very happy for those it does work for though

I use my daughters foot stool to go to the toilet she can reach the sink herself now so it benefits me more lol definitely a helpful position.

I've often thought I must be an odd shape or something, but for me I have more luck if I stand more upright. A beneficial side effect is strengthened quads for when I go skiing 😂 ... not that that will happen again....

Oh my you stand up to take a crap. LOL! Does it work??

Not usually, but if I'm having problems then I find getting more upright is helpful. Almost like I've got gravity helping me. It was the same when I gave birth - I wanted to be more upright. I'm obviously odd 😂 Mind you - the French toilets use that stance don't they?
