Has anyone experienced like an "aura" type effect where before an attack they would usually get a certain symptom? Like a day before my attack, I'll be literally fatigued and have zero strength and can't keep my eyes open.
This is making me really unhappy because my GP doesn't seem to care.

Hi there. Could be a food intolerance. Look back to see if this happens after always eating the same thing. Do a food diary until it happens again. I get the shakes if I eat too much corn/ maize starch. All the best.
Hi and thanks for reply. What is IBD? If you don't mind me asking. I am waiting to have that done (stool sample) meant to come in the post I think. I will have to chase it up.🙄 all the best.
Hi, I get migraines, dizziness, sever fatigue and vertigo if I eat just a little of anything containing FODMAPS. I am on a low FODMAP diet, but occasionally I can't resist something more tasty and I pay for it almost immediately. Doctors call it food intolerance, but I'm sure that it is caused by low stomach acid and/or low levels of digestive enzymes. Everyone's physiology is different, but you could try an exclusion diet to find out which foods/drinks are causing your problems. The big three for me are dairy, sugar and gluten.
Sounds diet related, I even suffer from drinking tap water due to the Fluoride that put in it to make it safe to drink, any dairy is a no no, most bread from shops affect me due to all the additives so I make my own and it taste better, lik someone else said keep a daily food diet diary, I also put in my diary how the toilet habit was that day and follow the Bristol chart for your stools it is a good sign if your eating to much wrong food.
Thanks for the reply. I’m actually Vegan, and haven’t consumed dairy products for over three years. I’m basically eating nothing now, because i’m scared of upsetting my bowels and don’t know what to do anymore.
Makes me feel like Euthanasia should be legal in this country.
Most all of the responses on diet and meds are the same things i might have said, but i think many have ignored the "elephant in the room" so to speak. If your GP shows inifferance or lack of concern etc, get on the horn and find a new Doctor. IMO that is the most important part of your question. Find a Doctor that makes your difficulties his concern. I am not a Doctor, but it seems Ones concern , nerves, tempement, or whatever you want to call it is a big contributing factor to treatment. At least it seems to be in my case.
Can really relate to this, for me this is my biggest symptom - fatigue, feel like I could literally fall asleep standing up. I normally get this after consuming something. I know lactose and gluten cause it, but there’s something else that I haven’t put my finger on yet.
