Hi

What symptoms do people struggle with?

Mine go from loose bowel movements & tiredness but more recently I’ve had nausea and a churning feeling in stomach.

I don’t get cramping or pain though

IBS is not a disease it is what is left when all other diagnoses have been discounted. So there are many and varied symptoms attributed to IBS. Pain and cramping seem to be the most common and debilitating. Nausea and churning are more a symptom of anxiety which is a fairly common problem associated with IBS sufferers. You should be consulting a Dr first in case there is an underlying health issue, the symptoms you state can be caused by many different issues and are not the sol domain of IBS.

Hi,

I also suffer with loose bms and tiredness but I do have low iron. Also feel sick sometimes and yeah the uncomfortable, 'weird' feeling in my tummy, but I do have a lot of anxiety around food and life 🥲

In my case, constant bowel movement, on some occasions constipation for several days, but mostly constant visits to the toilet which I have no control over. Half the time it's false alarm but I just can't tell. I put more out than I eat and I have lost so far two stone in weight which brings my BMI as underweight with little muscle tissue left. Also, I have cramps and abdominal pains. It's not fun, especially when you want to go out and you suddenly have to dash to the toilet. 😲
