Aching legs & tiredness

Hi

Does anyone experience aching legs & fatigue?

Some days I feel fine but others I feel completely drained & my legs ache & back ache like mad.

I eat quite a lot of GF bread and I’m wondering if this could be part of the problem!

Hi Maisiemoo

Yes, I've been very fatigued over the last year as my IBS symptoms have changed for the worse. I also had a lot of back aches.

My legs can feel fatigued but also, sometimes at night or early morning, they're twitchy. They've been like that for years & I've often had restless leg syndrome. I've been on a low FODMAP diet & noticed that my legs are better. It's made me wonder whether excess gas has been behind my leg twitchiness in the past.

Gluten-free breads can have high FODMAP ingredients like amaranth flour. Do you keep a food diary? You could try excluding it for a month, then reintroduce and see how your symptoms go.
