Pain and bleeding?

Hi, so, at about 10pm last night I started vomiting with diarrhoea, this came with so much lower abdominal pain, and came on do suddenly. I am now experiencing some light bleeding when I go to the toilet. The pain is still very intense, and have been in and out of bed all day. Should I be worried?

Have you started your period? I know those symptoms come when I start mine

If you don't feel better in a day or two you might want to call your doctor.

Yeah, May want to talk to a doctor if it doesn’t get better. That doesn’t sound normal. Could be a urinary infection or something.

Does sound very much like food poisoning, because bacterial infections are more likely to give abdominal pain than viral ones. The anal bleeding is unsurprising given how much you will have used the toilet - the effect will have given you haemorrhoids.

Vomiting shouldn't last longer than 2 days, but diarrhoea could last a week. Make sure you keep hydrated with isotonic drinks like Dioralyte and Lucozade Energy; sip these if you still feel sick.
