Does anyone else have constipation to the point of having to manually remove? The stool packs up around the anus like a donut and can't get out on it's own with out having to remove it manually. Never heard anyone else with the problem, so I hoping someone can shed some light on this awful situation. Been chemically constipated for 20 yrs. Anyone?

Yes, I have suffered with this problem for a number of years now. I am currently trying a new regime, which seems to be working, of Flaxseed pills, Diet Coca Cola, Kiwi fruits and a daily suppository. If it turns into a successful regime I will post the exact details to you by DM, if you want me to.
This has only happened to me once or twice - I have limited scleroderma which slows my gut.I wanted to reply, tho, to say yo you that I suspect this is a very common problem but that you don’t hear about it because people are often squeamish about sharing there bowel issues.
Maybe your diet is good but, if not, I’d start with doing some research on how much prebiotic and probiotic is needed. I find psyllium husk helps tremendously.
If you haven’t already, I’d also suggest that you ask your gp for a referral to a proctologist. I have consulted one over the last couple of years about my own issues (weak anal sphincter and leakage) and he has been amazing. She or he will look at your lower bowel and anus and will be able to tell you if there is any structural problem that explains your issue. I thought I was alone in the world but now know that I am part of a very large ‘club’ of people who suffer from the same issues as me. He has also helped me find answers and improve my situation.
Oh, thank you for your response ! Everything sounds like a great remedy for me. I have been fighting with this situation for ever. So glad you responded. Really does help a lot. Yes, I know that at least others somewhere do share the same woe's~ Can't thank you enough for taking your time to help another" person along the way." I Wish you health in all areas, and many blessings your way. *-* 🌈
