No it isn’t. I live in supported living and will now have the confidence to let the support workers know of my embarrassing problem. I probably won’t need to use the pads in anger but if I do, at least I will be protected.

I have ulcerative colitis which I've had for one year now and its driving me mad as it 'rules' my life. I wear pads everyday to protect myself. I have my 'emergency bag' which I carry in my boot of my car and contains spare pants, pads and trousers and plastic bags. So if I do have an 'accident' I know I have a change of clothes to get me home. Its really a nightmare this illness and I look forward to things being 'normal' again.
