Constipated diarrhea?

Hello,

It’s almost 3 in the morning and I’m having almost like constipated diarrhea. The feeling in my gut is moving like diarrhea, but I can’t seem to “go.” Does anyone else have this?? I’m wondering if it has to do with my IBS...

That sounds exactly like what I’m experiencing. Awful night with the kind of cramps you get when you are about to have diarrhoea except I’ve got constipation, once I’d woken I just had awful pain until morning. I’m very very stressed right now. I’m wondering if it is something more serious but this bout of IBS has gone on since the spring and I’m pretty sure it is stress from trying to move house, COVID, loneliness and grief (I’m a widow). I’m S trying syrup of figs in the hope I can help the constipation, I really feel for you

Hi lingI only had it about four times altogether but a glycerin suppository always made me go immediately. My difficulty was always urgent need to defecate and not getting to the loo on time thereby making a horrible mess of myself. This led to drastic fasting and recurring nightmares. However, things have settled down now and I’m feeling much better. Keep searching for a conclusion. Bx

Hi l have exactly the same thing. The pain wakes me up but l can't go to the toilet. I have the pain at the moment and sitting with a hot water bottle on my tummy. I have had this on and off since February and waiting for colonoscopy and endoscopy but don't know when l will get these done due to covid. You are not alone with this. Regards Janet

Yes i am being kept awake lately with that feeling and churning noise in my stomach, and still not being able to go to the toilet so its normal i feel with ibs
