Sorry to hear that. It seems like bleeding somewhere in the GI tract. I would call my GP in such cases so that I can see GI specialist to check the cause.
It is not normal and you should go to your doctor and get it checked out or while the covid is around ring your doctor and he will advise you Hope you get it sorted soon
My son was diagnosed by his GP with IBS for almost 2 years & advised to try to control it by monitoring his diet & identify what caused flare ups & over-the-counter medications. Finally he was advised to consult a dietician who in turn advised he have a blood test to rule out Coeliac's Disease first as the food choices would be different. His GP did that, identified it wasn't Coeliacs, but that's all he did.
On 8 Dec 2015 after a bad bout of pain he asked us to take him to A&E (suspecting appendicitis). The following day I sat with my 35 year old son & we got these words all in the same sentence. "Stage 4 Bowel Cancer, spread to liver & lymph glands, terminal, palliative care only". 7 weeks later, in my front room I watched the light leave my son's eyes forever.
DO NOT sit back asking questions on a forum. DO NOT allow any doctor to fob you off, it is MASSIVELY something to worry about, hopefully it will not be serious but you MUST get 'serious' ruled out. DO NOT let coronavirus get in the way of a full & proper diagnosis.
If you are in UK then you insist on urgent GP appointment, your GP must put you on the 'cancer pathway' so you will have appointments made to see specialists within 2 weeks. Remember my son's words in response to his PROPER DIAGNOSIS, "but I'm only 35, I haven't finished living yet. I only came in with a sore belly & you've handed me a death sentence". Don't let IBS be ruled IN, before the most serious of disease is ruled OUT, & DO NOT let your GP decide cancer recognises age & you're too young. YOU'RE NOT!
