Hi sounds very similar to me , I think it all starts with anxiety , and leads on to tummy probs .

I get, after ive eaten , bloating (not visibly )but feeling bloated in tummy area .

Also nausea , belching like you wouldnt believe .

When i lay down at night it can get worse as all the air inside gets pushed around , and i have to occasionally take a hot water bottle to bed to be able to sleep

I have had CBT which helps me cope .

excercise for ibs (u tube is good there are loads of vids)

If you have any ideas that might help me i would be glad to hear

Could it be due to low stomach acid?

Try not to second guess , I know its the hardest thing , but go back to your gp its the only way .

You need to be referred to a gastro doc

STOP GOOGLING if thats what your doing its going to put your anxiety up

I know because ive done it myself

All the best

So do you have constipation then?

Amygy profile image
Amygy in reply toMaureen1958

No constipation at all

Maureen1958 in reply toAmygy

If you have constipation due to hypothyroid this could cause you problems up the top end ie indigestion problems, which might account for what you are experiencing at present.
