First time here, have read a few posts and want to know what you guys think of my situation - want to add I haven't been diagnosed with IBS or anything

27 year old male who to date haven't had any health issues. I went to the doctor about 5/6 months ago with some bleeding with passing motions. The doctor completed a rectal exam but didn't see anything of concern and placed it as a potential issue but keep an eye on it and keep the stool soft is key.

Since this have worked to improve my diet and tried stool softener but gives me bad side effects so try not to take them (cramping, pain) drink about 2 l of water a day and still like a beer or two every now and again.

Stool softener taken recently have kept my motions soft and for a good few days had no bleeding but definitely went a lot more. Fast forward till now, now getting some bleeding on the TP, again very small spotting but it's quite sore to wipe at times and checked my bottom to find 2 or 3 small red vertical cuts just above my anus which I'm guessing is the fissure? Applying sudocrem and vaseline to them just recently. Coconut oil any good for these cuts?

What are your guys thought? Never really much pain in passing stool but wiping is a bit sore at times. Going back say 3/4 months the blood was quite a bit more now when I go is now a lot lot less

Sorry for TMI but wanted to be honest

Now there is some mucas on the TP along with blood after stopping Softner. Thinking i culd be dealing with a hemorrhoid. the only suppository i could get was one with Allantoin in it.

Allantoin any good?

UPDATE:

Went to the loo about hour and a half after inserting Allantoin suppository. Obviously could feel the melted suppository coming out (actually felt like a nice cooling sensation) but anyways, hardly but a spec of blood on tp. Could a single suppository have this affect after all this time? Inserted one after again. Tried suppositries before but they were never much good, now perhaps ive found my golden ticket? Tried in the past Ansuol and Germoloids -

Hi

From a lay person's point of view and from one who has had piles sound familiar but not had fissures. The condition should only last 7-14 days and I think you are long overdue another phone consultation with your GP. Until you can do that suggest🤔

*after a bm sit in warm water to calm the area, must be careful to avoid infections

* use only alcohol and fragrance free wipes

* exercise by walking/running (if not too painful)

Sorry but don't know much about coconut oil except for its high saturated fat content and antibacterial effect

Good luck
