My stomach turns and I am sick, and I feel nausea for the rest of the day, i have to lie down for the rest of the day ,

My gp sent me to the collateral department they did ct scans upper middle and lower abdomen but all try said was I did not have cancer , I am on antacid tablets for 4 weeks but he changed my medication

Can anyone recognise these symptoms?

I am sorry to hear that you are experience it. Its must be so scary.

I would recommend visiting gastroenterologist to see if they can perform endoscopy to you to see if you have anything wrong inside your stomach and maybe ask them to do full blood works to see if everything in that front.

What is your eating pattern? Do you eat late? What kind of food do you eat?

Thank you. Of course now nobody seems to be doing those ! I have been on lansoprazole

60 mg a day. For 3 days , I also did a fisceas test , he wants to see if the higher doze works before he goes any further! I don’t eat after 6. Just hot porridge in the morning , chicken and rice , baked potatoes , salmon and veg ! I suppose I will have to wait a couple of weeks

A bit annoyed the hospital did not say anything further about my ct scans just no cancer found ! I thought teycould findout Sydney things

If he can’t get me an endoscopy I will ask him for antibiotics as this seems to cure many things

Apparently guys hospital are not doing colonoscopy or anything like that because of the corona virus

Thank you for the most. You seems to be doing the right things and eating the right foods, but which veggies to you eat?

I would reccomend looking into fodmap diet, which has selected foods that does not produce so much gas in your column. I would also avoid any products that has lactose.

Indeed, with this Corona virus it's a bit difficult to get anywhere but I think you should still insist on further test. I mean it disrupts your personal life and that's not fair on you.

I used to pester my Gp a lot until I got what i wanted because unfortunately in very hard to get things done in here if you do not persist. I know it's very frustrating. Believe me I have been there, but please dont give up.

I would reccomend checking your iron levels to see if you could be anaemic because that would indicate that you have problem in your stomach for example bleeding ulcers. But dont worry that is very treatable thing.

I would also recommend keeping food diary to see what triggers you and what is ok because sometimes food has a delayed effect (a day or two) like a build up before you feel bad.

Also I forgot to mention in ' healthy gut' books that I have read it says that taking antibiotics destroys your natural gut flora and it's bad for you. I would try something else before I go that root. Also of you take ibuprofen i would stop it because that make your stomach even more inflamed. Take paracetamol instead.

I also find that gaviscon helps me to reduce that bloating as well.

Thank. You , I just have carrots and broccoli , I just don’t understand why I am sick everyday in the morning when I get out of bed when I start moving ,

I dont have heartburn but I have a slight sore throat ,

Brocolli is bad because it produces a lot of gas. Please check the Fodmap diet. I think it could help you.

The sore throat indicate you that when you are sleeping you might have very active acid reflux. I get sore throat as well and I have acid reflux during the day as well.

I'm a bit confused as according to your post 12 days ago you were taking omeprazole and you said you stopped taking them and most of your symptoms went away 9 days ago. Why are you now taking lansoprazole?

Not what you're looking for?
