My lower belly hurts and i can't leave the bathroom. I had a traumatic job interview yesterday and woke up today with ibs and acid reflux and anxiety. Yesterday and today I took pills for anxiety and probiotics (Omnibiotic stress repair) and Omeprazol but it's still killing me. If i go to the ER, they will just tell me to take the same pills

very sorry to hear this.
I find that Mindfulness Meditations, there are lots on YouTube, can help.
Try “the mindful movement “on YouTube. I hope you feel better soon.
Sorry to hear you are having a bad time. You maybe reacting to the stress of yesterday. I guess you got through the interview without incidents. If so well done. I tend to do that, get through what I am stressing about and then the next day a flare up, it is so annoying. Let's hope it passes soon. Take care x
Against_the_current, stress is definitely not our friend. One of it's effects is loss of magnesium which ironically is needed by the body to deal with stress. It has a long list of duties to perform one being activating vitamin B1 (thiamine). Activated thiamine is needed by the brain and also the vagus nerve to control our digestive system, The vagus nerve also connects to the sphincter muscles. My reflux was so bad I was spitting it out! I used magnesium threonate and a synthetic form of thiamine called TTFD because they can pass through the blood brain barrier more redially than other forms. I haven't had reflux since. I encourage you to research thiamine's role in digestion. Do a search on "thiamine sibo". Also learn about magnesium and it's various forms. It's important to use a B-Complex when using a thiamine supplement. They work better together. Always consult with your health care provider before using any supplement.
Hi I'm sorry you're feeling so terrible, I hope it passes soon! I haven't really got any advice, I just wanted to send you sympathy as my ibs is mostly anxiety induced as well, so I understand how you feel, and agree - the response by most (not all, to be fair) professionals is 'get something from the pharmacist', and that is beyond frustrating, and no help at all when you're in that much pain. I hope it calms down quickly, and good luck with the job - fingers crossed
Hi 😊hope you’re feeling better.Unfortunately stress and anxiety are not good for the gut!I usually suffer like this after something quite traumatic. So today I got a call to go to the hospital to see my elderly dad who’s very poorly.Immediately my tummy started churning and I was running to the toilet.Even at the hospital this afternoon I had awful pain and had to go again. Now I’m back home and eating porridge as it seems to be gentle on my gut.Hoping and praying my dad pulls through.Sending love and know you’re not alone xxxx
