Ibs and hemorrhoids

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced hemorrhoids? The last few months after a BM I have a small very hard but completely painless lump on my anus. It moves around under the skin. Is this likely to be a hemorrhoid? It’s not even visible it’s just felt under the skin as a hard, almost pointy lump.

I’ve had hemorrhoids before but it has never been like this. I’m waiting on an appointment from my GP but I was hoping until then someone would have some sort of info or advice or if maybe someone else has had this issue.

Hi, I’m sorry you have to deal with this extra issue on top of everything else. I’ve had them and one thing I remember is that they’re very painful. I think it’s definitely worth waiting to see your GP. It may turn out to be a harmless irritating bump.
