Omeprozole time

I started talking omeprozole for stomach acid about 28days ago, 1 tablet inte morning then after 14 days 2 tablets a day , after 17 days Im getting some relief , mo sickness and stomach not hurting so much , can it take. So long for the medication to work , has anybody been on these tablets for longer to get relief ?

I have been on Omeprazole for over 15 years now, and remember that they take a while to build up a resistance to indigestion. I take 20mg per day (at night) although I was told I should take them in the morning, I found they work best for me if I take them just before bedtime.

My bf was taking this for about 6 months. It's the worst thing you can take. If you can try to do Vega Test then you will know what is really wrong with your body. We done it in Poland. My bf was told to stop taking this shit and was prescribed natural stuff: Green black whalnut complex by 'Now' 20 drops 30 min before meal twice a day, and candida clear tablets. You can also buy Ovex wormwood treatment from Sainsbury .

Strictly no cheese, dairy products, coffee, tea, sugar, white bread, processed meat, fried food

You can eat spelt bread instead white bread . Keep this diet for 2 months. But within a week you should feel better.

After you stop taking medication you will feel bad for few days.

Hope you feel better. My bf was at the point that he didn't wanted to live any more. Vomiting, pain in stomach, dizziness....

Ahhh one more...he also took Mastica tablets.

Hi Iam on them tablets at the mo 1 a day how long did the pains in he’s stomach last also I get the sick feeling and dizziness

No more than a week. At this point I recomend Ovex from Sainsbury or boots and green black wormwood complex. You may also get helicobacter....

Been taking Omeprazole for 6 years. If you are worried do a search for the facts sheet on Omeprazole, don't be miss led by third party anecdotal evidence. We can react differently to medicines. I get nausea and mild vertigo from time to time but Omeprazole definitely works for me. I now take it sparingly as I'm CKD which does not respond well to Omeprazole.

Well I stopped the omaproxole and next day most of my symptoms have gone !

Feeling nausea all day , sick most days , headaches . Sore throat terrible fatigue soreness behind my eyes heart pulse 90 pm. 3 days later without taking them all theses symptoms have gone ! Maybe I did not have stomach acid

Tummy still feels unwell and rumbles in the evening , still lying down most of the day
