Glycerine suppository

After a severe bout of diarrhoea I was unable to go the toilet for the following 6 days. For the first timeI used a glycerine suppository which had almost immediate affect. As my IBS seems to be caused by anxiety about needing to use a toilet outside my home I wonder whether it would be a good idea to use these on a regular basis. Does anyone have any experience or advice about this? Thanks

I use them in same situation but have movicol as well. I also use one if I have to go somewhere and haven’t time to wait for nature to take its course. But not regularly though. Movicol from doc is good if used consistently
