Sudden flare-up.

I have been relatively stable with my symptoms since lockdown.

BUT 10.15 pm last night I was in a bad way.

Chronic Indigestion, then bloating, pains everywhere especially around the groin.

Urgency trips to the toilet ...

I found it difficult to move and sitting, standing uncomfortable, to say the least.

Then I felt nauseous, had to put a plastic bag in the small bin just in case.

Used all my meds that usually help ... then onto sipping hot water.

I started shivering, I didn't have a temperature ( thermometer downstairs and I didn't feel well enough to negotiate the stairs) and was worried in case I fainted.

About 2.30 am the pains subsided and then it was as if nothing had happened.

Just feel washed out and delicate ...

Not sure if i will tell my son when he rings as he is in lockdown as a housemate has the virus.

Sorry for how you feel.

I am having some reflux related issues and my entire body feels burning sometimes these days and I feel I tremble even.

If it was just one episode, try not to think too much about it and keep your calm.

If it returns, plz consult medical professional.

I had a teephone consultation with my Dr yesterday afternoon. I have not had any feedback from my tests at the hospital from January.

He changed a couple of the meds I'm on and said the main problem with IBS is there is no cure. I am doing everything right but i can get back to them if there is any further problems.

He said everything in the tests point to IBS but I will have to wait for the hospital consultant to see me for his final review.
