Nocturnal diarrhoea

Does anyone have bouts of unexpected diarrhoea through the night?

Well I do get it sometimes. Not often. Usually it happens when I have eaten something that doesn’t agree with me or is one of my trigger foods. Definitely not in the middle of the night. Usually it happens around 1 am or then very early in the morning like after 4:30 am. With ibs d it happens. But if it’s happening too often I would get it checked by your GP. Ideally nocturnal Diarrhea shouldn’t happen in ibs.

I agree with Laxmik that nocturnal diarrhea isn't too common with IBS and to get a phone consultation with your GP.
