I made this today and it does smell good. It did look quite complicated to make but actually it was quite easy even though I had to make 2 sauces and a herb mix to use for the recipe.
I'm now in the introduction phase of the diet and have to say I would much rather stay in the elimination phase as I had no side effects whatsoever, it was working really well. Trouble is you won't find out what food is affecting you unless you introduce it back into your diet.
I'm pleased to say though I am so much better than I was before, I rarely have an upset tummy now and it's rare I suffer with nausea. If the diet works for you then you are on a winner.
Ooh that looks nice, what cookbook was the recipe from? I am currently trying the low FODMAP diet whilst awaiting referral to a dietician, and would like to try a low FODMAP lentil loaf.
It was lovely and although when you look at the recipe it looks like quite a faff, you have to make a tomato sauce, barbecue sauce and a herb blend but they are so easy to do, throw all the ingredients in and cook, same with the lentil loaf.
