Beabs are bad for constipation for the gas they make gets trapped. And that causes alot of pain. And don't go for fiber or wheat for it also causes alot of pain and raw fruits or any greens will cause a very bad day. Don't listen to people saying any of these things will help I've c. Cause it's be.

I would dispute your statement, purely because 1) Kiwis work for me

2) Prunes and kiwis work for my friends

3) Every one is different with IBS/ IBD. Not only is everyone different, but we are all affected in different ways by the same foods, indeed, I have eaten bananas to ease symptoms of c, and there have been times when I eat bananas and they have given me c. Unfortunately, there is no rhyme nor reason to this blasted disease(s), and no one size fits all remedy for us, you have to try and find out for yourself, with input from GI teams, consultants and GPs as well as fellow sufferers.

I totally agree with you, we are all different and what affects one person may not affect the other.

I can eat greens i.e. broccoli 2 or 3 nights of the week without a problem whereas cauliflower I can't eat too much of.
