IBS with other illnesses

Do you find your IBS worsens if you are tun down? I'm brewing something, maybe a cold. It seems as soon as I get a virus or something, my IBS flares up too. Anyone else?

It is a fact that when you are run down or not feeling your best, is the time when viruses and bugs attack you, and like all good soldiers, they attack you at your weakest point (IBS/IBD sufferers = stomach/bowel/intestines). It is normal and there is nothing, unfortunately, that we can do about it.

Thanks for your reply. IBS is not linked to a virus, it just seems it takes the opportunity to make you feel worse than you already do lol

Sorry, I seem to have lost art of what I wrote to you initially, it should have read:-.....and bugs attack you, the body's antibodies go to the new attack, like all good soldiers, and this means leaving us vulnerable to be attacked at our weakest point............. nothing you can do about it.

I don't know what happened to what I wrote, but this Social Media stuff, drives me nuts.
