Gas in morning

ugh...ill admit my IBS has calmed down from how bad it's been since taking Flucloaxillin in may but it seems there's always still an issue. I'm in the midst of moving out and stressing about minor debt and everyday I wake up I have lots of gas..it gives me scary intense pain and only eases after an hour or two. I've tried eating in smaller pieces and relaxing but it's still so consistent, anyone got any tips? I'm constipated for the majority of the time but I do go every two days

Stop drinking any fizzy drinks and reduce alcohol.

Hi Jalapeno

That sounds so much like my situation - I am sure the stresses, even minor, make it so much worse.

My GP has steered me towards fodmap, although it is not clear if I can see a fodmap trained Dietitian on the NHS. I'm trying to make all the enquiries I can as I am told 70% of us IBS sufferers find it reduces symptoms.

Hope you make some progress here - it seems like an amazing community
