It has been five months, appt to specialist is next month, weight loss is about 30 pounds. The tongue burning and geographic tongue are not so severe but still occurs. The sore throat has also improved. Had some tests done to determine if it was something outside of IBS, those were negative. I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia, neck arthritis years earlier, suffered a concussion in 2017.
My next course of action before or after the specialist is an x-ray of my teeth. I wondering if I have a deep tooth infection...
The pulsating stomach particularly by the belly button is really worrying me.
Thoughts?

Im sorry to read you've been going through such a tough time with your health and well being.
Can't give you any answers sorry but will say I feel there's a heart beat just a little to the right of my belly button. For me Ive imagined its a vein/artery pushed up because my stomach is so swollen due to uterine growths and bloating due to IBS.
Would love to know what it actually is though.
Yep, I get pulsating stomach as well. Horrible. Having a full on CT scan tomorrow. Still waiting for IBS to be confirmed.
Apologies for being off-topic but I’ve just found that going gluten free has cured my geographic tongue so I’m letting everyone know that mentioned GT in case it helps them too
