Has anyone had any mouth issues with IBS? Recently I have been experiencing a sore tongue and throat, like oral thrush and burning gums and mouth?

Sounds like acid is flowing into your mouth and throat while you sleep. I have same problem but it has improved by placing 2 bricks under the head of the bed as acid can't flow uphill also gaviscon and ranitidine help xx

Well yes, one side only sore tongue, dry mouth but yet again sticky saliva the best way I can describe it, thought it was probably all the dental work I have had done over the last 8 weeks, but then again hubby suggests I am not drinking enough water

More water - dont eat close to bedtime and dont mix fruit with main meals as it will be digested too quickly and leaves some other food then undigested which makes acid reflux and reflux of food up the food pipe worse.
