Acupuncture

Hi everyone.

Has anyone tried acupuncture for IBS? Considering trying this but wondered if anyone has had a positive or otherwise experience with it. Thanks xx

HI I did years ago, I am sorry to say it made no difference and was a bit of a scary experience having needles stuck into me! Maybe it has been a success for others though.

This is next on my list of things to try - have done everything else! I`m intending to contact a local acupuncturist shortly and will report back

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Acupuncture did absolutely nothing! 😕

I'm an acupuncturist and it will only help if there are emotional or neurological implications. If the IBS is caused by intolerance or dietary issues it won't help. Some herbs will help instead. See a chinese herbalist or naturopath with clinical nutrition. I have a client who has just had a fecael transfer and it has worked wonders....!!
