Acupuncture
I have. I'm afraid it didn't work for me. I cancelled last weeks Apt having had 4 treatments, one a week @ £35.00 each week & a £10. Consultation fee too.
So not cheap. I live in the North West & the Dr. did come recommended, she wanted me to change my diet which contradicted what I was having on the Low Fodmap diet. Her reasoning was cut out foods to see which ones affected me. Yes I'd already been doing that with Fod Map. I tried the white meat only, no eggs, no cheese, nothing that was 'crispy' as this would give me indigestion-toast,Rice Krispies ....need I go on & NO cold drinks!
I was also having the Acupuncture for other complaints, none appeared any better. I didn't have any of the Chinese Medicine @ £6.50 for each packet of concoctions.
Believe it or not I did go with an open mind but it wasn't for me. 😔
Good luck I hope it works for you.
Jackie.
It didn't work for me. But I did Chinese cupping and heat therapy which I found was good. The needles however didn't do anything but leave a bruise

Acupuncture didn't work for me for my ibs symptoms but it does help me to be stressed and more content in myself.
Had about a years worth of weekly acupuncture. While it was no where near a cure it definitely calmed me down which helped overall. I think most people are better off making lifestyle and dietary changes though.
