IBS or worse?

Sorry if this post is TMI but The last couple of weeks, my bowel movements have been a bit up and down. Sometimes normal, sometimes I've had a bit of a belly ache with diarrhea. I've put this down to a LOT of recent stress and bad eating habits.

However, yesterday I noticed I needed to go a lot more than usual & do get pains in my stomach (all over in various places) and last night, after dinner it was very soft and I saw what looked like a bloody mucusy streak mixed in.

I also get black flecks/flakes but I have always had these as long as I can remember.

Is this just a bad ibs flare up? Or should I be speaking to the Dr about cancer?

I'm only 32.

I will be giving it a few more days to see how I am but needed to vent!

I would go to the doctors, the diarrhea and stomach pains could be ibs. However the blood could be something else, as that isnt a normal symptom of ibs. Best to get yourself checked out just incase.

I'm trying to hold off going to the Drs as it's only 1 BM that LOOKED like blood. It hasn't happened since. Still got a very sensitive tummy tho so keeping an eye on it and hoping it's just a bad flare up!

Put your mind at ease and go to the doctor, but don’t get too anxious. I had a very small amount of blood with mucous once, and it was because of ibs.
