Questions to ask consultant slow transit constipation Rectocele medication and management

Hi

I have managed to get an appointment for Thursday with my consultant. My gp told me there were problems with slow transit and prolapse so I’m wondering what questions I should be asking?

I feel like my problem is getting worse and although I’m guessing they will offer bio feedback (he mentioned this previously) I don’t feel like my day to day is managed.

I always feel like I’m getting fobbed off , (last time I was told to just take laxatives on a weekend so it wouldn’t impact my work ) it’s not the answer because as soon as I eat I feel uncomfortable. The only time I’m fine is when I just don’t eat which isn’t a long term solution 😂

Any help preparing for my appointment would be appreciated xx

Ask about sacral nerve stimulation and ace malone surgery I had both for slow transit constipation.
