Constipation and weight loss

I take Fybogel and have lots of vegetables and very few carbs

. I have poor appetite and am losing weight. Waiting for a colonoscopy. Any advice please?

My appetite has changed drastically since I was diagnosed. Weight lose was the worst. I still cant gain weight. I dont know about others, but weight gain is extremely hard for someone with ibs and high metabolism.(me)

I kinda stopped taking pills because they dont do much. It's about what you eat.

I had same problem but found I have lots of two parasites which can cause weight loss.

Understand completely Nuttycatlady-I have IBS-D and cannot seem to put on weight. But I do eat carbs and my appetite is o'k, suggest you wait for the colonoscopy and see if there is anything that may be subduing your appetite. If nothing shows then your GP should be able to recommend an appetite enhancer or they may be able to suggest a diet suitable for your needs. Good Luck and let us know how you get on

Stop taking Fybogel.

You need fat.
