Kolanticon out of stock

Been waiting over 3 weeks for my prescription of kolanticon, chemist says there’s a manufacturing problem and they have been unable to get any stock to date! Looked on-line and no joy there either. E-mailed manufacturer, but they’ve not replied. It’s one of the only things that helps when my ibs and reflux is bad, I could weep. Anyone else having problems getting this medication? Nightmare😫

I offered another member a bottle I have here totally unopened just without the box I never used it as I find Silicol Gel better for me but they didn't reply- am happy to let you have it for the cost of postage as I'll never use it - it's up to you x

Me again just checked the bottle it's out of date end of this month, May but you'd be ok for 3 weeks or so

Thanks for the offer, as it’s almost halfway through may, I won’t take up your kind offer, fingers crossed they will get some in soon. Got GP appt next week, see what they say

There also seems to be a problem with Questran at the moment. Boots have said they have a lead time of 10 days before it might be available.

I know it's nearly out of date hope you get sorted- have you tried Silicol Gel? If takes a day or so to work but it is very good and more readily available

I think I tried it some years ago, don’t think it helped. I’ll see what GP says this week, and maybe give it another go if still no kolanticon. Thanks
