Ibs pain/lethargic?

When I get my ibs pains, I feel so drained all of a sudden. It makes me feel so tired and just no energy and this is before I even go to the toilet. But funny enough once I do have a bowel movement I feel more energetic and obviously alot better. Does anybody else suffer with tiredness with ibs pain?

I feel tired after I have an IBS-D attack but can recover within a couple of hours.I do feel weary if I get a wind pain that takes its time to disperse Everyone is different. By the way have you been clinically diagnosed with IBS?

Yes i have noticed when i am having bad IBS C or bloating i feel lathargic and tired. I lose my get up and go and my energy and drive dissapear. I feel sluggish and low in mood when I am having an attack which can last days or weeks. It is very dibilitating and frustrating.

I def experience tiredness and am in general always just worn out due to my IBS. Also the longer it goes on as in days weeks months years those systems are bound to get worse as you are more worn
