For a few weeks I have had what feels like constipation. I have been able to have a bowel movement, but it feels like my bowel is not completely emptying. The stool is hard and lumpy when it comes (which takes a while). I also have pressure in my rectum most of the time. Could this all be IBS? Any thoughts on how I can make things more comfortable, the pressure in rectum is especially annoying!

Water and probiotics (which are pricey...like culturelle). If you can't afford that, eat yogurt. Also buy a blender and make smoothies with grapes and apples and other stuff....you will be on your way soon enough in this "department".... Good luck.
