Severe upper gastric pain - bypass patient

I’m a gastric bypass patient that has severe upper stomach pain.

It’s so bad it makes me dry heave, I’ve had testing and surgeon says it’s nothing but the burning pain is an 8/10!!!!

What is going on???

I'm no expert and definitely not a doctor but the pain you're having sounds very much indigestion and acid reflux related. Have you tried any anti-acids?

I take nexium 20mg but will increase it and hope I get some relief

I would agree with the other reply. I had gastric bypass jan 17..and I have suffered with acid reflux since about 2005..try some over the counter medicines and if they don't help go back to the Dr and push for them to give you something or have you checked again. It is am awful thing to deal with and I hope you can get it sorted and some relief soon

Try not worry as I am sure you have been told lots of times before getting stressed makes everything worse. There is a few different meds out there so try them and take one day at a time don't think it will always be this way x
