Wierd feeling

Hi, ok this is a strange one sorry lol. When going to number 2 , I get a strange feeling in my base of throat top of chest area. Not pain . If I feel pulse in neck I miss the odd then beat too.

I have been to dr about the missed beat which can happen other times ( I didn’t mention the toilet time) he as unconcerned and ecg was fine . I had a 24 hr monitor a few yrs ago all fine .

Any ideas? I wouldn’t say I’m constipated but maybe more so than I used to be . Had all cameras etc due to constant diahoriah since df gf for nearly 2 yrs I’m much improved . I go every day usually more than once sometimes just bits . Always pushed all my life that’s just me . Have diverticulitis. Find a low fibre diet works better but maybe need more

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you are feeling bad. I'm not a medical expert by any means but the discomfort under your throat and above your chest shouid definitely be further examined by a specialist such as Gastroenterologist. It may be a Hiatal Hernia..or maybe just trapped gas. You also may be having a diverticulitis flare up. I know you can't eat seeds because they can get stuck in pockets. Have you had an upper abdominal and lower barium follow through? Cat scan?
