Hello Littlelo :-)

You are not on your own I struggle to :-)

I like my food and regretfully everything I like is not that good for me , I stick with the rules then fall of the wagon again and pay the price with my IBS but if I am honest I find the rules as you put it so boring

Having a husband and Son that can eat what they want does not help either !

Do your best , don't be harsh on yourself if you slip up and I hope the more experienced members on here will maybe give us both some tips how to stick with the diets we should be eating :-)

Take Care x

Thanks for your post. I fall off the fodmap diet all the time and then beat myself up. Have a wicked sweet tooth but sweets trigger IBS quite badly. Also can't tolerate any form of gluten, corn, eggs, or dairy. My diet seems so boring and I think I over indulgence because of the lack of choice which makes me feel frustrated. Taking it as a learning curve now.

Yep! I don't do good with milk but love milkshakes when I go out to eat lol!! I just know to have immodiom with me and have nothing to do next day if i can't resist the temptation 😂

Hi Littlelo , I became a Vegan around 2 1/2 month's ago and that has definitely made a difference with me. I have found my tummy isn't keen on Cashew Nut Milk but it's fine with Soya, Almond or Oat milks. The only thing I am missing is dairy cheese but I'm not missing anything else. I can eat raw fruit bars which are homemade, they are naturally sweetened with dates.

Also, being a Vegan my weight has stabilised and I no longer have to watch what I eat so that's a bonus. I thought I would struggle on what to eat but I'm now eating a much more varied diet.

I used to get quite a bit of tummy pain but don't get it that often now. There are still things I can't eat and that's raw onions and carrots, some salad, Cavelo Nero which is a cabbage, these are the things that tend to affect me. I couldn't eat sweetcorn when I was a Pescatarian but I can eat it now and that's great as I love it.

I am going to on the Vegan Low Fodmap diet to see what's left that affects me but I am so much better.
