I would be careful about "Colonic irrigation". This practice is now being reduced due to a lot of problems with it. Out colons shed millions of cells every day. Our bodies, bowels, colon are very smart and "clean" themselves. Colonic irrigation disrupts the normal flora in your stomach leading to more problems. My friend did Colonic irrigation by an "expert" and it perforated her colon. I hope you feel better soon..

Looking to ser if anyone has had it and be ok

Hi, u need to relax, I completely understand the worrying I’ve been through similar lately, had some really pale motions, but being ibs diagnosed it’s easy to sometimes push the Boundries of what’s good and not good to eat, anyway long story short I had some stress and worry lately and it resulted in me having this pale poop, docs ran full bloods and liver function tests and digestive enzymes, also stool tests, all normal, soon as I heard normal and calmed down it went back to normal,

Give it a few days with some good food no rubbish and see how u go,

Hope that helps

:)

I would be concerned however, if I had red stool, as this can potentially mean something wrong like bleeding from large or small intestines.

Don't leap to cancer so fast. There are plenty of other more common issues you can have. Diverticulitis for one.

Yes, I did at one time, but was Told by Gastro that stool can be different colors, grey, even green. However red, may mean inflammation somewhere, bleeding hemmorhoids, it's hard to tell. Have you had a Sigmoidscopy or Colonoscopy? Do you have a Gastroenterologist?

A second opinion go has said colonoscopy and my go has said wait a week. Ive been having tummy troubles and lower burning pelvic pain prolapsed hemorrhoids anal itching for years and worried i have ignored it and my intuition is telling me somethings wrong but i have severe health anxiety. Im scared of a colonoscopy inly for results i had ine but in 09.

Dark red almost black is upper GI if it’s fresh red could be a simple thing like piles,

Blood tests would show anemia if u were bleeding then the docs would further investigate

There’s a stool test called calprotectin, that is an inflammatory marker, have that checked
