my fuzzy head ,makes ne feel like its full off balance
Hi, this is an IBS forum for people with digestive, colon, bowel issues. Nobody is going to quite understand what you mean by "fuzzyhead"..Their might be a forum on anxiety, or sinus issues..are you on any medication that might be causing this?
Hi, was just wondering if it is lightheadedness due to not eating enough. I go very long times without eating due to the IBS and I get something like you are describing. Just a thought.
u may have a point there !
Yes, what the above poster said is right. I too, am malnourished..with being 20 lbs underweight. I am seeing a dietician to try to get back to 145 lbs. I was prescribed ensure/boost, a very good protein drink (..for nutrition/calories, vitamins we are not getting in our diets). I drink two sometimes three a day. Since then..although I have not put on weight yet..except maybe a pound..I have not had a pounding heartbeat or dizzy/feeling faint problems. A doctor or Gastroenterologist can prescribe it for you, and depending on insurance, they will pay for it. I drink the chocolate flavor, but it also comes in Vanilla and strawberry. It's very good..not chalky tasting or anything. However, Medicare (my insurance) will not pay for any weight gain powders or shakes, unless someone is on a feeding tube, so I am out of luck, and have to either go to Wal-Mart for something affordable..or buy online. Just make sure it does not have sugar, high fructose corn syrup, Carrageen..as the first five ingredients. Make sure it only has a few ingredients and high calories. You will feel better. The powders are also good options that you can mix in water or milk.
im sorry u are suffering ,i probably am nit eating as much as i should .! but its not an option as im not hungry ,its a state off mind for me ,i feel down ,u are making a big effort ! good luck !
Yes, it's a state of mind for me too..I was prescribed Seroquel..which is very sedating and calming..and sure enough my "cramping" went away..yet..I still have that "fear of food..large meals" then I have the constipation to deal with..but stool softeners seems to be working..I can relate..Is there anyway you can reduce anxiety or stress? Anxiety Medication? Magnesium supplement (very calming to nerves and stomach), biofeedback, etc?
