anti spasmodic' s don't appear to work

HELP - I currently take Laxido for constipation related IBS and after 14 years of this condition have had to increase the dosage to 2.5 sachets per day. My BM's are always pebble-like and unfulfilling despite taking muscarinic drugs. Can anyone suggest a type that has helped them?
