Could i have ibs with Constipation without Diarrhea

I suffer from Constipation and i have read most of ibs patients suffer from Diarrhea

And i want to know does ibs cause loud bowel sounds ?

and

is passing gas easy for you ?

Yes I mostly have just constipation I do pass some wind especially when I get a cramp at the bottom of me but carnt go for poo

YES! I have IBS and I have never experienced diarrhea. I am on a low fodmap diet and use a probiotic and a fiber laxative daily. As far as noise, let’s just say, I sometimes describe it as “The Orchastra”.

Yes, for sure that is why they are referred to as IBS C( constipation) or IBS D for diarrhea.

Some people have diarrhoea with IBS while others, like me, have constipation. It can also cause rumbling in your tummy. And the answer to your final question is no. I suffer from a lot of trapped wind.

I go back and forth. And I pass gas a little TOO easily, unfortunately. 😬

I have IBS d and my closest friend has IBS c. When we get together we spend half the time discussing our stomachs.

I suffer with IBS C and if I haven’t been the day before, I will get horrendous stomach cramps. My tummy will make a lot of noise as well, can be embarrassing especially if I am at work with a patient or in a seminar! x
